Although we specialize in hotel and resort marketing, when it comes to direct response we have more than 25 years of success stories in dozens of industries. That's because successful direct response techniques are applicable to any business regardless of the industry. The same basic theories apply and have been proven time and time again.

Interlink's challenge was to reach the designers who developed lap top computers. In 1994 and 1995 the race among computer manufacturers was to develop smaller and lighter laptops. The trackball configuration that was being used in most lap tops was too tall to allow keyboards to become any thinner.

Interlink developed the first micro module pointing device that used 75% less space in the keyboard thereby allowing manufacturers who used their technology, to slim their lap tops considerably.

We designed this piece to immediately demonstrate in the most graphic way possible, the problem that designers could relate to, trackballs used too much space. The answer to this problem was also treated graphically by illustrating the two technologies side by side on the interior of the brochure.
