I stepped out of college and
into my own business at the age of 22. With no investors and very little money, the primary thing I had going for me was my desire to become the best commercial designer and illustrator in America.
Sadly, that didn’t happen.
Happily, something far more rewarding did — I adapted to the marketplace (code for, “I needed to make a better living”) and became an “ad man,” I started my own advertising agency. Over the ensuing 25 years, I grew that two man shop into a 15 person company with annual billings in excess of $10 million dollars and a host of Fortune 500 clients like Polaroid, The Ritz Carlton Hotels, Hilton and many others.
I sold the business that year, took a year off to learn how to play golf and then decided, quite by accident, to become a ghostwriter.

I’ve been providing full ghostwriting services (writing, editing, research, collaboration and help with publishing your book) for more than 25 years. I provide these services as a memoir ghostwriter or a business book ghostwriter. My first book was not a ghostwriting project, it was a humorous story about my experiences on the links. That became a Los Angeles Times bestseller "The Golf Gods Are Laughing" and was one of the “accidents” that brought me to ghostwriting. Since then, I’ve been nominated for a Pulitzer Prize for fiction in 2012 and I’ve ghostwritten 47 books; some of them novels, many of them memoirs and business books.
